The Joy of Engineering: an arduino workshop at chantilly library

In a bid to fuel the curiosity and aspirations of our future leaders, TYE recently orchestrated an exciting workshop at Chantilly Regional Library. This immersive event was designed to introduce young minds to the captivating universe of electrical engineering, employing hands-on experiences with Arduino—an open-source platform that unlocks boundless creativity. The workshop not only laid the groundwork for understanding the intricacies of electronics but also demonstrated the practical applications of these skills in the real world.
Breaking down the complexities of electrical engineering, the workshop delivered an interactive and accessible guide to fundamental concepts such as circuits, voltage, current, and resistance. Through hands-on demonstrations, attendees gained valuable insights into the synergy of electronic components in creating functional systems.
The heart of the workshop lay in its hands-on approach. Participants actively engaged in assembling circuits, connecting wires, and programming their Arduinos to perform various tasks. From basic LED blink sequences to more sophisticated projects like temperature sensors and light-controlled devices, attendees explored the
